When October blossoms and Mother Nature wraps herself in a calm and serene blanket, the festive season arrives in India. It’s a trumpet that embarks the season of lighting and celebration of victory of good over evil.
It’s the time of the year when cities all over India are covered in a color of virtue, glee and devotion. Every corner of the city is adorned with lights and Pandals proudly stands like a diamond on the crown branding the festivity of Durga Puja and Dussehra.
For days, Hindu celebrates Navratri and Durga Puja rejoicing the triumph of Goddess Durga over demon Mahishasura and worshiping her 9 forms. Children await the day of Dussehra to witness the destruction of Ravana by Lord Ram.
